Giving Back
Our History
This page is dedicated to my mother, Maggie, who spent so much of her time raising money for charities she believed in. Often by organising and selling tickets to big, and not so big, charity events where she and her band of superwomen would cook and bake for days, then host these special events; donating all money to worthwhile causes. She is a well travelled woman, and enjoyed helping people from different cultures around the world -supporting charities that empowered those in need. She lost a beloved son to cancer, and spent years raising money for cancer research. She is now 88 years young and her gala event days are behind her; so we, her younger generation, walk quietly behind her, as lead by her example.
People and Community
We support organizations and charities we believe in; and those that have touched our own lives in some meaningful way. We do not work in isolation, we are part of a global community, by giving back, we create a deeper connection to our local and global community and help, in our own small way, to create a better world.
We donate 50% of the advertised price, on selected items throughout the store - to these worthwhile organizations and charities, who work to -
help others, care for animals, care for the environment, and create a better future for all.
